Annandale Art Crawl 2014
Mike Rediske October 2014
On Thursday, Oct. 2, Annandale hosted their annual Art Crawl and along with it were loads of activities to enjoy. Local businesses taking part featured various artists and musicans from the area on a very fun filled night.
Throughout the day, weather appeared to challenge how the evening would flow but the rain soon cleared, clouds passed and it became a very pleasant night for one and all. There was wine, food, music, and air filled with the beautiful scent of fall firewood crackling in a fireplace, it turned out to be a perfect evening!
At Stone Creek Original Art & Gifts people complimented the beautiful artisan jewelry, hand painted glassware, quilts, warm mittens, scarves, wooden crosses, cards, T-shirts and potato/corn/tortilla bags and even the popular kitchen scrubbies. To the delight of many participants, expressions of surpirse were heard about everything the little shop has to offer.
Another event during the festivities was the statue dedication of a boy dressed in swimming gear at Annandale’s Clock Tower Park. Artist Betty Hood and the ACT Art Team provided the presentation.
Stone Creek would like to thank all the artists and fine handcrafters for their hard work and contributions as well as the community and loyal customers that helped make the night a success. It is so rewarding seeing the smiles, hearing the complients and seeing the joy your work brings to the patrons of Stone Creek.

Seal Dwyer September 2014
As the leaves are changing outside, the colors inside Stone Creek are changing, too. We're debuting our new autumn colors this weekend, bringing in the reds, oranges, and golds that make us want to sip cider around a bonfire.
Stop in for some hot cider and specials on all the fall items.
Julie's Glass Garden
Seal Dwyer August 2014
Everyone is into repurposing right now. But Julie's Glass Garden, which debuted this summer, takes repurposing to another level. Combining trqanslucent paints with glass plates, cups, and other glass dishes, Julie Caird creates whimsical additions to any garden. These beautiful glass flowers come with stakes, so they can be added right in among your dahlias and zinnias. They come in every color, and can be custom done, too, so there's a special flower for everyone's garden.
